It was good as far as book movies go so it was okay
though its a given that the books are much better, i think the movie is very good. for such a tight budget, i think they did very well. they followed the plot pretty well and the actors were very good at their roles.
This may sound silly, but I refuse to see the movie. The book is perfect already, and the movie would just lower the bar. Call me crazy, but it just wouldn't be as satisfying.
Honestly i didn't really like the movie. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't the best movie i have seen. I guess with the budget that they had it was good for what they could do. it did follow the book somewhat but a lot of the scenes were changed around such as the meadow scene which is my favorite scene in the book and i was pretty furious about that, but i know that they can't make the movie exactly the same as the book which was absolutely amazing!! I would give it three stars saying that it was pretty good and hope that the next movie is better.
