After reading the Chicago Tribune's review of Twilight, I was rather dissapointed to hear that they are expecting it be not that great as it's anticipated. I have to agree with them that it can be a little cheesey at some parts, like the ballet room scene where the characters are "flying" on wires. I'm guessing that the people that did the review probably haven't read the series and therefor, cannot understand the relationship that the readers have made with the book and the characters in it. For a person that has not read the books it might be a disapointment, but for a true twilight fan, it will be amazing.
Almost everyone I talked to hated the movie and told me so before I even went to see it. I did my best not to let this effect my opinion, and to keep an open mind until I'd actually seen it myself. I was pleasantly surprised! My friends and family all think I'm CRAZY but I absolutely loved the movie. All the characters in the cast were perfect in my opinion.
the movie was definatly not as good as the book but it wasn't awful. it deserved more that two stars in my opinion,
I was originally very excited for the movie. But once I heard all the hype over it, I decided it would turn too mainstreem. And, from what I've heard, they left out the most important line.

Bella: Frequently.
Yeah, that's not something you can leave out of the movie.
